Iain Lee is a stand-up comedian and radio and television presenter. I saw him compere a charity comedy night at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London in 2011.
Lee’s innate funny bones shone through in his hosting. He communicated effortlessly with the crowd and put them at ease before introducing the acts. His comedy was full of original ideas and hilarious conversation. With his sharp delivery, the dialogue made the audience laugh out loud.
Lee made a worthy host and interviewer for An Evening with Kelsey Grammer that I saw in June 2019 at the Aldwych Theatre. Lee was lively, entertaining, listened intently and clearly in awe (like the rest of the audience) of the actor and comedy legend.
