Sophie Duker took to the stage and delivered ten-minutes of quality comedy for the Berk’s Nest Mid-Fest Comedy Special at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2019. Covering subjects such as privilege, identity and mental health, the set was little with extremely clever witticisms from a very funny and talented comedian.
The comedian made her Always Be Comedy debut online in November 2020, then again in January 2021 and appeared live for showcases in September 2021, February 2022, and October 2023. As always, she was very engaging easily making the audience laugh with her intelligent comedy insights.
I saw Duker perform a brilliant set for The Alternative Comedy Memorial Society in February 2024, and then again for Sofa So Funny at The Angelic pub in Islington in June 2025. Very self-assured, she was fearless on stage describing funny episodes from her varied life and career.
