Jack Barry is an English comedian who I saw perform at Always Be Comedy in London in 2016.  He has an instantly likeable persona on stage and his impulsive informal delivery makes his stories flow with ease.

Barry made a welcome return to Always Be Comedy in London in March 2018.  He had bags of charisma on stage, freely chatting with the audience and delivered great one-liners and witty anecdotes in a tight twenty-minute set which he warmed to and delighted the encouraging crowd.

I saw Barry top the bill at Always Be Comedy in May 2019.  He was at the top of his game describing stories involving his girlfriend and his love life.  He was clearly enjoying himself by asking awkward questions to the audience which made for much hilarity.

In August 2019, I watched Barry compere the Berk’s Nest Mid-Fest Comedy Special at the Edinburgh Festival.  Celebrating the middle of the festival from award-winning production company Berk’s Nest, the show featured festival favourites, the best new acts and special guests and Barry was a very enthusiastic MC.  I again Barry again as guest compere at Always Be Comedy with effortless ease and quick-fire humour in November 2019.

In December 2020, December 2021, February and May 2022, Barry made guest appearances at Always Be Comedy Online.  He was superbly funny developing his new show Don’t Happy Be Worry, describing life and lockdown with his Argentinian girlfriend and how his career has developed.

Barry is effortlessly endearing, and it is very hard not to find him funny.
