I saw Irish born comedian Joanna McNally play Always Be in Comedy in 2017.  She was first on the bill, dashing onto the stage with a bold and brazen confidence.  She easily chatted with the crowd with thoughtful sensitive and hilarious insights on love and life.

McNally very confidently delivered a strong quick-witted set when I saw her at Always Be Comedy in March 2018.  McNally had a naturally funny pessimism about her which was infectious delivering a friendly fifteen minutes of story-telling and the laughs flowed thick and fast.  McNally made a further appearance for the Off The Kerb Showcase at The Comedy Store in April 2018 where she was well liked by the encouraging crowd.

She returned to Always Be Comedy as a guest compere in November 2018 easily warming up the audience and in total control of a varied and entertaining evening.  She appeared again at Always Be Comedy in September 2019 and also for Always Be Comedy Online during the pandemic in August 2020 where she effortlessly had the audience in the palm of her hand encouraging them to talk about relationships with her witty broad Irish brogue.
