First seen on CBTV, an ITV Children’s’ programme from the 1970s with comedy partner Jim Sweeney, Steve Steen is a master of comic improvisation. I have seen him on many occasions with different comedy groups. He was spontaneous and accurate with all his characters making the audience cry with laughter from made up routines.
