Comedian Fiona Ridgewell made her Comedy Store debut live on stage in August 2021. She was very warm and endearing on stage as she described her life and times with a frank and mischievous sense of humour which the audience loved.
Having recently won the Best Newcomer at the inaugural Edinburgh-Ish Awards in August 2023, it was a joy to watch Ridgewell perform new material for the Sofa So Funny! showcase that I watched in November 2023 and for the Rat Pack Stand Up Comedy Show at The Camden Comedy Club that I saw in January 2024. She was also a finalist for the Leicester Mercury Comedian of The Year 2024 that I watched at the Leicester Comedy Festival in February 2024, where she came third, and was a guest act for the Women Are(n’t) Funny benefit – A Comedy Night in Aid of Refuge at the Camden Beer Hall in March 2024. Confident and daring; talking about her relationship, and thoroughly engaging with the audience; there were guaranteed big laughs with her routines and I’m looking forward to seeing her again soon.
