The Last Leg TV star Alex Brooker made his stand-up comedy debut for Always Be Comedy live on stage in October 2021 and again in November 2021. Brooker was confident and effortlessly funny as he talked about his disability, his family, and his life to a very enthusiastic audience. Well-deserved rounds of applause were given to some very clever punchlines, and I was delighted to have seen his debut shows.
Brooker is a resident co-host on The Last Leg, the acclaimed news show that began as a post Paralympics show at London 2012. I have been very lucky to attend lots of live recordings and as I sat in the audience, Brooker was wonderfully entertaining throughout with his wonderful remarks which were extremely funny.
The comedian made a successful return to Always Be Comedy for a new material night in June 2024, and again in February 2025. Born to be a comic, he thoroughly entertained the audience.
