Paul Connell: Ace In The Hole: Hull Comedy Festival 2023, 1-2 Pier Street, Hull, 2023

Paul Connell was the first comedian I saw at the Hull Comedy Festival 2023.   The working-class Yorkshire born comic was very eager and vigorous on stage, as he delivered humorous stories with unforeseen diversions.  He celebrated everything from the life of what it’s like to be a comedian to the relationship with his partner.  The audience really warmed to the funny man who provided an hour of quality entertainment.  The show was a great start to the festival.
