Comedian Daniel Colbeck was the deserved winner of Hull What’s On New Comedian of the Year 2025 at the Hull Comedy Festival in November 2025.  With me acting as one of the judges, he expectedly delivered exaggerated stories and depreciating jokes about everyday experiences. He was exceptionally funny with his world-weary view on life.  Colbeck also featured with a host of very funny comedians for Quip Spice Comedy performing stand-up and sketches.
