Australian comedian John Robertson played Gits and Shiggles Comedy in February 2020.  The exuberant, loud, anarchic comedian burst onto the stage without the aid of a microphone and preceded to climb on empty chairs meeting the audience as he went.  His audience interaction was great and from the start of the set heard me laughing at him and referred to me as ‘Dad’ which got big laughs every time he said something directly to me.  Robertson had a big comic presence that engulfed the stage and kept delivering laughter.

Robertson appeared as Werner Hertzog as a guest on Late Night with Terry Wogan at the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2025.  The lively talk show featured Ben Alborough as Wogan asking comedians (as past celebrities) ridiculous questions.
