Every so often, I see a real comic find and Julian Deane who was first on the bill that I saw at Always Be Comedy in January 2020, again for the Clapham Comedy Club in October 2020 and for Happy Monday Comedy Lockdown in January 2021 where he was hysterically funny both visually and in delivery. Conveying witheringly self-depreciating short sharp and well executed jokes about work, homelife and other relatable subjects, the audience seemed to take to him straight away. He was a wonderful act to watch.
He delighted the audience when I saw him again appear for Outside The Box Comedy Club 18th Birthday. Perfect delivery and self-depreciating putdowns were rewarded with consistent belly laughter from the audience.
