Marc Burrows: The Britpop Hour (WIP): Happy Mondays @ The Amersham Arms, New Cross, London, 2025 

Marc Burrows performed lots of daft jokes about musical instruments, sex and relationships at the Live @ Limehouse 4 comedy showcase that I saw in January 2020.  The comedian and musician did an inspired turn by asking members of the audience their favourite band and based on the band gave them a joke about their sexual technique.

​Burrows was also an inspired guest at Vix Leyton’s Comedy Roulette in 2020 And then for Comedy Arcade at The Pleasance Theatre in Islington, London, with hilarious stories and jokes about music and film.

I saw Burrows’ new show, The Britpop Hour, on Edinburgh Fringe preview for Happy Mondays @ The Amersham Arms, New Cross, London in July 2025.  This was a very enjoyable hour and a very interesting subject about his relationship with the Britpop movement, very amusing told with lots of audience interaction, clever routines and songs.
