I first came across comedian Sean McLoughlin when he was supporting Katherine Ryan on her tour Glam Role Model in 2015.  The clever and brave comic played fearlessly to the crowd.  He had a lot to get across and his material that night about erectile dysfunction was priceless and utterly hilarious.

A year later I saw him perform a complete set at Always Be Comedy in London.  He appeared uneasy and grumpy revealing his desolation on stage.   McLoughlin had the abilities to challenge multifaceted feelings and themes through stories and jokes, and still be daft when he wanted to be.  He offered a no-holds barred, truthful, laid-back look at the world and his own place in it, delivered with essence and black humour.

McLoughlin was the opening act at the first Always Be Comedy night of the year that I saw in January 2018.  In his twenty-minute set he delivered many great self-withering put downs and punchlines at a high success rate goading the audience into helpless laughter.  McLoughlin is a very clever, funny comedian who made me laugh a lot.

The comedian was the first act on a bill at Always Be Comedy Online that I watched in November 2020.  Having to encounter a second lockdown was the basis of his set as he broadcast from his room from an old PC after his Wi-fi connection had gone.

McLoughlin also guested at Return of The Craic Online Comedy Club that I watched in February 2021.  The great thing watching the comedian was his ability to look lost and bewildered in escalating situations that make his hilarious stories.

McLoughlin is a great comedian to watch, gain insight and laugh at uproariously.
