Always Be Comedy (3 shows): The Tommyfield pub, Kennington, London, 2018
Tom Webb was guest MC for three separate weeks at Always Be Comedy in February, March and November 2018. As I sat in my usual front row seat, I saw Webb transform into an over-enthusiastic compere who was effortlessly at ease with the audience all the while building easy-to-please comedy routines and banter to create a very friendly atmosphere. He was underplaying and relaxing with the crowd which made them warm to him. His interaction with me was inspired and he was an instant hit with the audience.
