Fin Taylor is a regular at Always Be Comedy and I have seen him in 2016 and 2017 perform live. Both times, he had a very slick and confident delivery which maintained an unflagging energy on stage making him very popular and funny with the crowd.
Taylor guested at Always Be Comedy once more in March and June 2018 where he gave a Edinburgh Fringe preview and then again in January and November 2019where he performed new material based on his recent marriage and his new dog.
I watched him describe his off-beat world and admired his comedic skill and ability at delivering very edgy jokes. His slick and confident delivery kept the energy level high throughout most of the experimental sets and his talent drew the audience in and then flipped their expectations. He was willing to take risks and offend to get belly laughs. Taylor was a confident and relaxed comedian on stage and delivered intelligent yet filthy comedy that was extremely funny.
The comedian made a successful return to Always Be Comedy Online in November 2020 after hitting the headlines for telling a controversial joke on a TV show. After dealing with the matter swiftly and honestly, he went onto talk about his experiences of living with his wife and newly acquired dog and Colonel Sanders of Kentucky Fried Chicken fame. Taylor is one of the best at comedic delivery and his astute observations had the online audience in hysterics.
Taylor was one of eight acts to appear at Headliners Comedy Mayfest in May 2021, then again for Always Be Comedy performing a full hour of new material in August 2021 and then for the London Comedy Allstars in September 2021. Delivering the routines in his own unique style, he told very near the knuckle stories to shock and delight the audience.
The comic delivered a wonderful preview of his new Edinburgh Fringe show Daddy Self-Care at Always Be Comedy in August 2022. Talking about getting married and becoming a father, the uproariously funny show was performed with trademark razor sharp observations and wit. He was also a guest for Edinburgh Comedy All Stars at the Edinburgh Fringe in August 2022.
