I watched Save the Student journalist and comedian Jess Aszkenasy appear on Vix Leyton’s Comedy Roulette online in June 2020. Aszkenasy was bright and cheery as she delivered funny stories based on topics generated by balls from a bingo machine.
The comedian delivered an impressive set about her life for Live @ Limehouse and at the Comedy Kiss launch night in October and November 2020. She was very endearing chatting about coping with the experience of the global pandemic, and she was funny with the audience.
The comedian appeared at Comedy Kiss again in August 2021. The co-creator of the evening (with Vix Leyton) performed a short set of new material to the delight of the audience.
Aszkenasy was a great guest for Sofa Sofunny! that I watched in February 2022. As part of the comedy showcase, the comedian delivered a wonderful routine involving a very unfortunate incident that delighted the crowd.
