The Canadian comic Chris Betts had a calm manner as he sauntered onto the stage at Always Be Comedy when I saw him in 2016. His remarks were astute and his repartee was lively. His material mostly about life working as a bartender watching life around him was witty and dependable enough to keep the audience interested.
