Scottish comedian Stephen Carlin topped the bill at the 99 Club Comedy when I went along in 2017.  The attention to detail with his funny routines was very impressive to see as was his dry, repetitive delivery which actually fuelled the laughter from the audience.

Carlin appeared for a full Edinburgh Fringe preview for Happy Mondays @ the Amersham Arms that I watched in New Cross, London in July 2025.  Very dry with his delivery the stories had accurate ideas and observations that drew the audience in.
