Scottish comedian Phil Kay is an Edinburgh Fringe favourite.  I have seen him a few times at the Festival and he always delivered unexpected riotous humous that delighted an audience.  His comedy was a unique blend of energy, improvisation and loads of imagination that take the audience on an unforgettable journey.  He possesses that rare gift of creating comedy where audiences feel that they are all taking part in a practical joke.

It was wonderful to see the comedian return for a performance at Outside The Box Comedy Club in Kingston in November 2025.  Anything can happen when Kay is on-stage and when it works it is joyous to watch.

I saw Phil Kay in the early nineties in Balnain House, Inverness, the man was manic and one of the first comedians I’d seen live.
