Baddiel and Newman Live and In Pieces: Apollo Theatre, Manchester, 1992
Sean Lock: Pleasance Courtyard, Edinburgh, 2007

I first saw great British comedian Sean Lock supporting David Baddiel and Robert Newman on their tour in Manchester in 1992.  I then watched Lock perform again at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2007.

Lock, who could pass for office worker instead of stand-up comic, is a creative force able to take a candid comic opinion and then turn it on its head to make it funny.  His insights cover ordinariness to surreal however he always makes sure the audience know where he is coming from not matter the ridiculousness of the situation.  The self-depreciation in his routines is inspired and he is an extremely funny man.
