LEE MACK

Frank Skinner’s Credit Crunch: Lyric Theatre, London, 2009
Balham Comedy Festival 2013: The Bedford Arms, Balham, London, 2013
Roar with Laughter 2013: Hammersmith Apollo, London, 2013
Lee Mack: Hit The Road, Mack: Hammersmith Apollo, London, 2014

Lee Mack has become very popular as one of the team captains on the hit TV comedy quiz Would I Lie To You alongside fellow team captain David Mitchell and host Rob Brydon as well as his own series Not Going Out.

On stage, he has appeared in guest spots, but I really saw him come into his own at the Balham Comedy Festival in 2013 and then his own solo show Hit The Road, Mack at the Hammersmith Apollo in 2014.  Based on the grumblings of a middle age, grappling with fatherhood and mourning the lost romance in his relationship, he used the entire stage interacting effortlessly with the audience creating golden nuggets of comedy that were utterly hilarious and cheekily down to earth.  Mack proved his worth that night as being one of the best comedians at work today.
