EPISODE 16: JARLATH REGAN

In this episode, I talk to the great comedian JARLATH REGAN about his comedy career.

London-based Irish comedian and podcaster Regan began his stand-up comedy career in 2003. A year later, he was a finalist in three major UK comedy awards: So You Think You’re Funny, Chortle Student Comedian of The Year and BBC New Comedy Awards.  A regular performer at the Edinburgh Fringe, I have seen Regan’s solo shows Organ Freeman in 2018 (which detailed his experience as a live-organ donor) and Notion’s Eleven in 2019.  In 2013, he devised and began an award-winning podcast: An Irishman Abroad which is a series of interviews with people of Irish descent and Irish people talking about their lives.  In 2020 / 2021, I became a regular attendee at his brilliant hosted online comedy show Return of The Craic, and this seriously funny comedian is a joy to watch.
