Adele Cliff: In The Dark (Work in Progress): Museum of Comedy, London, 2021
Making a difficult decision not to attend the Edinburgh Fringe in 2021, instead, in May and June 2021, I have been to the Brighton Fringe and Hastings Fringe. In August 2021, it was the initial turn of the Camden Fringe in London and the first comedian I saw was Adele Cliff at the Museum of Comedy.
Cliff’s work-in-progress show In The Dark, concentrated on the power of knowledge and the power in refusing it. Cliff has a roster of new jokes and clever puns which were delivered with panache and she worked hard and succeeded in making her audience (including me) laugh-out-loud.
