New York comedian Dian Cathal was the first act for Laughing Horse Pick of The Fringe that I saw in May 2022.  Performing ten minutes from her show Generation Why, the comedy was intelligent and engaging as she described the generation of social change.

Cathal was also a welcome additional to the roster on Sofa So Funny! that I watched at the Angelic pub in Islington, London in June 2025.   She was very funny and very confident with her views.
