Canadian comedian based in Britain; Michelle Shaughnessy was a guest for Mervyn Stutter’s Pick of The Fringe at the Edinburgh Festival in August 2022. Promoting her solo show, Be Your Own Daddy, the comedian was bright, charming, lively and extremely funny with her intelligent comedy.
I watched Shaughnessy at the Leicester Comedy Festival in February 2023. Working through new material for her solo show, Pointless, Shaughnessy was cheerful and hilarious on stage, easily interacting with the audience. Wanting to help with any problems the crowd wanted to relate, her quick-witted responses were extremely funny.
