Paul Merryck took to the stage at the Bill Murray pub and never let go.  Watching him in April 2023, I could not stop laughing at his brilliant delivery and quick-fire jokes and stories.  He was also a guest for The Late Show at the Hastings Comedy Festival in June 2024.  Dressed in a very dapper suit, the Essex funny man tore through stories about failed relationships and boozy nights out with the airs and grace of a classic nightclub comedian.

He performed his new show Ambulance For One at the Brighton Fringe in 2025. Superb stories about ageing and looking back on his life made for a wonderful hour of laughter filled comedy.  He was on the bill as well for The Very Best in Stand Up… At This Price Point that I watched later the same day at the Fringe, proving that a new audience found the material and his on stage presence hilarious.  He was wonderful to watch and is highly recommended.
