I first saw Canadian comedian Greg Houston perform as an entry for the Noman Newcomer of The Year at Hastings Comedy Festival in June 2023.  He delivered a great five-minute set, but didn’t win.

Eighteen months later and featuring on the bill for the Sofa So Funny! showcase that I saw in January 2025, Houston talked about his experiences in the UK with extremely self-depreciating wit.  He was very funny with his style and delivery and was well liked by the audience.
