I have watched Richard Todd perform two twenty-minute comic sets to date, one for BBC Comedy at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2012 and the other for Always Be Comedy in 2017.  He was also a guest for the Sofa SoFunny! showcase that I watched in April 2023, for Outside The Box Comedy in November 2024 and again for Sofa So Funny! in September 2025.

He was an extremely, smart and surreal comedian with a charming, self-depreciating manner with an intense stare, wild curly hair and extremely tall.  He talked about his mental health issues and trying to get a grip on the state of the world.  He delivered in such an unthreatening way that he was endearing to the audiences.
