Whilst deciding not to attend the Edinburgh Fringe in 2021, instead, in May and June 2021, I did go to the Brighton Fringe and Hastings Fringe.  In August 2021, it was the initial turn of the Camden Fringe in London and the first comedian I saw was Adele Cliff at the Museum of Comedy.

Cliff’s work-in-progress show In The Dark, concentrated on the power of knowledge and the power in refusing it.  Cliff has a roster of new jokes and clever puns which were delivered with panache and she worked hard and succeeded in making her audience (including me) laugh-out-loud.

I went again to see her, at the Hastings Comedy Festival in June 2024, and as a guest for Happy Mondays Comedy in October 2024 and at the Sofa So Funny! showcase in June and September 2025, all in London.  Trying out a roster of new ideas, she won the audience over with her quick wit.
