In the final at the Hull What’s On Comedian of The Year 2023 , Mike Cook delivered a solid five minutes of comic material about his life mishaps.

Cook was part of a group of comedians for Quip Spice Comedy for Hull Comedy Festival that I watched in November 2025.  This was a showcase of stand up, songs, sketches and mayhem.  Cooke shined as an impressionist, told hilarious anecdotes and had sharp observations about everyday life.
