Best of The Fest 2017: Assembly on the Mound, Edinburgh, 2017

I saw Australian comedian David Quirk play the Best of The Fest showcase in 2017 at the Edinburgh Festival.  Quirk was outspoken, irreverent and thoughtful finding comedy in life’s darkest moments.  A brilliant routine involving a disturbing encounter with a neighbour brought the late-night house down and the inspired oddness to the act mad the audience listen and engage.
