Always Be Comedy: The Tommyfield pub, Kennington, London, 2017
The Off The Kerb Showcase: The Comedy Store, London, 2018
Always Be Comedy Online: Online: 2021
The Comedy Cellar: South Hill Park Arts Centre, Bracknell, 2021
I saw Marlon Davis perform at Always Be Comedy in 2017. His tales of domestic life were delivered in a cheery and good-natured way and Davis was well liked by his audience. His style and delivery was very funny.
I saw Davis on stage at The Comedy Store, London as part of the Off The Kerb showcase in April 2018. Davis was a brilliantly, high-charged storyteller that made the audience laugh without any discomfort. Davis was very upbeat during his set.
The comedian appeared for the 200th online show for Always Be Comedy and then a few days later live on stage headlining the 35th birthday Show for The Comedy Cellar in Bracknell. Davis’ new material about urban philosophy was warm and funny and at the live performance he delivered the routine with fresh-faced eagerness and an mischievous smirk.
