Big Comedy Gala in Aid of Macmillan Cancer Support: Venue 150 @ EICC, Edinburgh, 2013
Always Be Comedy: The Tommyfield pub, Kennington, London, 2019
Return of The Craic Online Comedy Club: Online: 2021
Using his voice synthesiser to connect with the audience, Lee Ridley aka Lost Voice Guy is unable to speak and uses a voice machine to blistering comic effect, I saw him perform a short set at the Big Comedy Gala in Aid of Macmillan Cancer Support at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2013 where the audience warmed to his lack of political correctness and dating history.
Winner of TV show Britain’s Got Talent, Lost Voice Guy appeared at Always Be Comedy in January 2019. Ridley programmed his voice synthesiser and the device’s same tone of voice makes what he types funny. Ridley’s act is made up of self depreciation which he uses on stage to brilliant effect. When he performed the ten-minute set, he included inspired audience participation and some extremely cutting and very funny stories involving the challenges of daily life.
The comedian headlined Return of The Craic Online Comedy Club that I watched in March 2021. He was superb delivered wonderful stories about his comic journey and his experience in lockdown.
I wish him every success with his comedy career and look forward to seeing him again soon.
