I first saw Michael Fabbri perform a five-minute slot at We Love Comedy in 2013.  He displayed a light silliness in his routine, and I was pleased to see him return and perform a longer set at Banana Cabaret in in London all in 2017.  Fabbri had gained a lot more confidence and built his comedy to maximum effect.

I have been going to see The Pick of The Fringe lunchtime showcase at the Brighton Festival since 2017 and Fabbri has compered every time.  He was an extremely warm and talented comic who has a very easy-going MC and effortlessly engaged with the lunch time crowd with fun comic ramblings and audience interaction to warm the audience up for the guest acts.  In May 2023, he proved again to be a great compere at the Laughing Horse Pick of The Fringe showcase, and in May 2024, he brilliantly headlined the showcase at the Brighton Fringe.  He also was the opening act for Outside The Box Comedy at New Malden in December 2024, where he effortlessly entertained the audience with his musings on family life.
