I went to see Tony Slattery being interviewed by comedy historian Robert Ross at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August 2019. The show was a raw story of his life and career. From the start when he was a member of the Cambridge Footlights who won the first Edinburgh Comedy Award (known then as The Perrier in 1981, through his greatest triumph as a member of Whose Line Is It Anyway from 1989 to the demons that consistently dogged his success. The master improviser and actor had some revealing unpredictable answers in the interesting hour.
