I saw Irish comedian Neil Delamere at two comedy showcases at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2011 and 2012.  Each time he took to the stage, he was smart, cohesive and silly building the comedy with rapid-fire stories about Irish history, religion and culture.  Delamere talked very quickly cramming a lot of material into the routines and delivered some terrific stories.

Delamere rattled through a terrific set at Headliners Comedy Club in May 2019.  He was a very funny man and a fast talker where at times his mind brilliantly wandered off topic.  The audience were subject to a new material that was so intrinsically put together that I was so exhausted from laughter. Car trouble, his grandma, obesity and ear hair removal were all subjects of mirth and he was so funny he so made me want to see him again.  I did so when he triumphantly headlined on his debut at Always Be Comedy in September 2019.

The comedian was a guest act for Boatshow Comedy when he returned to live stand-up in August 2021 after the worldwide pandemic lockdown.  Describing his experience of life during the last year, again he was hilarious with his bewildered descriptions and stories. One of the most naturally funny comedians I have ever seen, he was an instant hit with the audience who really warmed to him.
