I saw Rose Johnson appear at Always Be Comedy in London in October 2019. One third of sketch group, Birthday Girls, Johnson was bright, cheery, lively and enthusiastic on stage making sure everyone was having a good time. She delivered new material and had some very witty lines coping about coping with the stresses of life.
The comedian appeared for Always Be Comedy again for her first online show. She delivered and exceptionally funny set about married life which the audience loved. The extremely funny woman proved to be a popular hit.
She returned to live comedy when she was a guest compere for two shows at Always Be Comedy in July 2021 and then again in April 2022. She was sprightly and brilliant with the audience playing games and warming them up for the main acts.
In August 2022 and February 2023, I watched Johnson perform an hour-long work in progress show at the Soho Theatre and again at The Vaults Festival in London. She was bright, lively, energetic, and extremely funny as she talked about marriage, her career and life in lockdown. The comedian delivered a very entertaining hour who is wonderful to spend time in company.
