I watched Elliott Steel, son of comedian Mark Steel, played Always Be Comedy in 2017.  His set was all to do his views on growing up and leaving a legacy.  Steel’s own perspective is wry and critical.  He delivered an intelligent, extremely funny and hugely entertaining routine.

Steel played Always Be Comedy again in March 2019 and March 2020.  He produced uproarious and truthful real-life tenacious stories involving growing up on a South London Council estate all delivered with a invigorating distinct style.  Steel proved to be a big hit with the audience creating laughter from gritty routines.  Steel gets funnier every time I see him.

In July 2021, myself, and my mate, were sitting in The Jenny Lind pub in Hastings during the Fringe and I recognised Steel who in the pub was about to perform.  We had not booked tickets, so we decided to try and get into his show and succeeded.  We were treated to a quality hour of consistently funny new material that was so pin sharp and brilliantly delivered, the first show at the Fringe was a big hit and it was joyous to watch Steel crafting his comedy on stage.

I saw Steel again at the Hastings Comedy Festival 2023.  He was extremely confident on stage delivery amazing stories of unfortunate mishaps that were extremely relatable to the enthused audience.
