MARK STEEL

Mark Steel: Every Little Thing’s Gonna Be Alright: Assembly on the Mound, Edinburgh, 2017
Stand Up Against Alzheimer’s: The Comedy Store, London, 2019
Always Be Comedy Online: Online: 2020
Stand Up for Jeremy Hardy: Hammersmith Apollo, London, 2022

Mark Steel performed at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017 with his solo show Every Little Things Gonna Be Alright.  The comedian was a mixture of a man who has lived a life and was complaining how things are at present, mixed with angry socialist comment.  This made for a very funny combination and the show was fiercely attentive and politically smart from a terrific comedian.

Steel was a special guest for Stand Up Against Alzheimer’s at The Comedy Store, London in June 2019.  He rightly gave a mighty ten-minute routine about the state of the British political system that the audience wildly cheered and loved him for his mocking, cutting and hilariously funny honest style.

Steel was a guest for Always Be Comedy Online in June 2020.  He ranted from his bedroom about the current state of the country trying to cope during the worldwide pandemic.  His outbursts were brilliantly construct and so funny that I could not stop laughing at him.

The comedian made a wonderful host of the first half of a memorial night Stand Up for Jeremy Hardy at the Hammersmith Apollo in London in January 2022.  The delivery of the routines about lockdown was inspired and the audience really warmed to him whilst he introduced the acts.

One of the most naturally funny comedians. Steel is an exceptionally amusing comic voice.
