Comedian Helen Thorn played Twice as Nice Comedy when I went along in 2013. Thorn had some very funny stories about being a mum and had the audience in stitches describing her errors with parenting.
Thorn is one half of the double act The Scrummy Mummies (alongside Ellie Gibson). Both were due to appear but only Thorn was on stage for the #SaveLiveComedy: Show Three that I watched online live from The Clapham Grand in August 2020. Thorn delivered a set about being a mum that was relevant, honest, and exceptionally funny.
