I have seen comedian Josh Pugh perform at the Always Be Comedy Online showcase twice when I watched in September 2020 and February 2021. His delivered a well-crafted set of funny routines which were original and inspired. The delivery of his take on every-day life in lockdown was inspired. The online front row and I loved him and he made the audience laugh a lot.
In May 2021, Pugh performed a full solo show at Always Be Comedy Online. With new material featuring diverse subjects covering everything from his dog, ducks and helping others, his sight, Cubs, taxi drivers, BBQs and ego, his stories were relatable, easy going and extremely funny.
In September 2021, he made his live debut at Always Be Comedy performing the new material and again for Always Be Comedy online, as he was looking forward to becoming a dad in November 2021. His stories were hilarious, and his delivery of a joke was perfect.
Pugh appeared at the Leicester Comedy Festival in February 2022 and for Always Be Comedy online in March 2022 with his work in progress show Danger Danger, High Loltage. Charming and hilarious on stage, Pugh explored his relationship, becoming a father and coping with lockdown in a joke-filled hour that really entertained the deserved packed audience.
Pugh performed a preview of his Edinburgh Fringe show Sausage, Egg, Josh Pugh, Chips and Beans at Always Be Comedy in July 2022. The very funny show was described the last two years of his life, trying to have a baby, and becoming a dad.
In March 2023, Pugh played Always Be Comedy online with a brand-new show. The preview was warm, engaging, and funny delivered in his unique and charming style.
Pugh is highly recommended, one-to-watch and destined for great things.
