Laugh Till It Hurts Comedy Gala 2024: Bloomsbury Theatre, London, 2024

Simon Evans was one of a group of comedians (including Phil Jupitus and Jo Caulfield) who appeared in the play Coalition at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2012.  The play was a fast-moving political satire and all the comedians took good roles providing a lot of laughter.

Evans headlined the Laugh Till It Hurts charity comedy gala that I watched in April 2024 at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London.  Building up satirical, political and everyday material to a crescendo of weeping laughter was wonderful to see.
