I sat in the front row of the Stand Comedy Club at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2011 watching comedian Lloyd Langford’s solo show The Cold Hard Facts Of Life and I laugh very loudly at subjects involving Channel 4’s Welsh programming schedule, using re-usable bags in supermarkets and American propaganda. As I was laughing, he made a comment about my laugh and the colour of my jumper which got an even bigger laugh from me. Some time after the show, I was having a drink in the Gilded Balloon with a friend and he came into the bar, recognised me, came over and said hello and again praised my laugh.
Langford is an extremely funny Welshman with an easy-going on stage presence that can skilfully help to work a crowd by getting them to produce lots of laughter.
