Comic actress Sheila Steafel paid a glowing tribute to Barry Cryer at his 80th Birthday Celebration that I attended in 2015. Famous for her first-rate comic timing, Steafel developed from straight acting to revue-style comedy appearing with David Frost in the satire boom of the 1960s and was a familiar face in TV and radio comedies in the 60s, 70s and 80s.
