The Boy with Tape on His Face is the street entertainer and comedian Sam Wills.  The act consists of a man with tape over his mouth looking bewildered at the audience as he tries to complete tasks without communicating.

When The Boy is on stage, all the audience members for his ridiculous games are perfectly chosen by the comedian silenced by gaffer tape.  Once on stage, they are instructed to mime with given household items, which they try to follow, usually with some difficulty. The Boy ridicules their efforts to copy him with annoyingly mischievously rebuking them for their foolishness; while the rest of the audience, try to identify with the volunteers’ eagerness to please.   When they do, the audience whoop and cheer.

This is a masterclass in silent comedy and every time I have seen the popular act, it is always very entertaining and enjoyable.
