Comedian and juggler Steve Royle performed his one-man show The (Steve) Royle Variety Performance at the Leicester Comedy Festival in February 2020, as soon as the Britain’s Got Talent star (finishing third in the talent competition) appeared on stage, he was determined to make the crowd laugh. Performing at lunchtime to a small crowd was not ideal, but the funnyman won over every member of the audience chatting to them individually and performing daft stunts and amazing juggling as well as good-crafted funny stand-up comedy. Royle was born to entertain and is well worth seeing.
