La Clique: Underbelly Festival, Spiegel Tent, Cavendish Square, London, 2022
Created by Spiegeltent productions and running at Fringe festivals for almost 15 years, La Clique was an amazing spectacle of cabaret, burlesque, comedy, vaudeville and circus. It was entertainment show that I saw as part of the Underbelly Festival at Cavendish Square in June 2022, and it was variety bill like no other. From dangerous stunts involving rope climbing and swinging, to roller skating comedy and dangerous human swirling, to sexy burlesque routines, eccentric comedy and exceptional singing, this show had it all. All the acts were exceptionally confident, outstanding and the comedy elements were interwoven well into the routines. It was great to watch and highly recommended.
