Sofa So Funny: Upstairs at The Flying Horse, Wilson Street, London, 2022
Aldis Hamilton was an act for Sofa So Funny that I watched in June 2022. Calm, and finely paced, Scottish comic Hamilton built the comedy talking about her Scottish roots and delivered a five-minute quality set.
One evening in October 2022, I met some friends in a pub and ended up taking part in the weekly pub quiz. When the host of the quiz came to our table, it was Hamilton who recognised me instantly and commented on the nice things I said about her in this blog. She proved to be an efficient and jovial quiz presenter although we didn’t win!
