I attended the Leicester Mercury Comedian of The Year show at the Leicester Comedy Festival in February 2023. Indian comic Shalaka Karup came third producing some wonderful jokes and stories in a five-minute set.
I saw her again for the Sofa SoFunny! showcase in May 2023 where she described life in London in a hilarious manner, really engaging with her audience.
