Samira Banks was a guest for the Civil Service Comedy Night that I watched in London in April 2024, again for the Boat Show Comedy 25th Anniversary Show at the Tattershall Castle in London in March 2025, and at Always Be Comedy in August 2025.
Banks is of Middle Eastern origin, living in London and winner of the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny Award at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2023. Describing how her father entered Britain, she had wonderful pace and delivery and engaged with the crowd.
